30th November Day of Action - Details of Local Events

Dear Sister/Brother

Although the FBU are not taking strike action on the 30th November, 26 public sector unions are and the FBU are encouraging our members to show solidarity with these workers by attending organised rallies, marches and picket lines throughout the South West. Details for these are below:

Bath
1pm Royal Victoria Park, Marlborough Lane, Bath BA1 2NQ  2pm march for a rally at 3pm

Bournemouth
12 noon Gather to march from Central Library, the Triangle to Rally at 1.30pm in the Royal Bath Hotel

Bristol
11am Assemble at College Green, march at 11.30 to Rally at 12.30 in Castle Park.

Chippenham
11am Chippenham Sports Club (Chippenham Town FC), Bristol Road, Chippenham, Wiltshire SN15 1NH

Dorchester
10.00am March from Dorset County Council, County Hall, Colliton Park, Dorchester DT1 1JF 10.30am - March through town 11 am Rally at War Memorial in South Street.

Exeter
11am March from Cathedral Green to St James Park for a Rally at 12.30pm

Gloucester
1pm March from outside Gloucestershire County Council, Shire Hall, Westgate Street, Gloucester GL1 2TG to Gloucester Park for Rally at 2pm

Plymouth
11am March from outside Guildhall to the Holiday Inn, Armada Way for a Rally at 1pm. Children's crèche and activities for older kids. Evening event in the Voodoo Lounge.

Salisbury
Join striking health workers and supporters at Salisbury District Hospital both entrances, and Fountains Way Hospital on Wilton Road.

Swindon
10am March from Canal Wharf, Commercial Road, march to an indoor rally in the MECA theatre from 11am till 12.30pm

Somerset - Taunton
12 noon March from the Old Cattle Market to outside Somerset County Council offices for a Rally at 1.30pm

Torbay
10.30am Gather outside Torquay Town Hall from 10am, march off at 11am through town to indoor rally at Princess Theatre, Torquay. 

Trowbridge
11.30am Gather outside Wiltshire Council offices, Bradley Road, Trowbridge BA14 0RD

Truro
10am Rally in Hall for Cornwall, Back Quay, Truro, TR1 2LL

Branch, Brigade and Regional representatives will be at these events and look forward to a good FBU turn out.
