Brigades

Number of years in the fire service: 30 years, 2 RDS and 28 WDS. Previous positions held in the FBU: Branch secretary in 1980, I have been Brigade H&S rep, Fairness at work rep, membership secretary, vice chair and member of negotiating committee since 1982 Brigade chair 1984. I have attended conference since early 80s as first observer and then delegate. Represented the Brigade at Trades council in Swindon for 20 years and have been Chair of the TUC Swindon twice. I have held my present position for 13 years.
